Integration: Fusion and Adaptation

“Integration”reflects an ambition and a viewpoint in considering issues. It encompasses selection, modulation, weighting, sequences, and prospects, but it is not pandering or ingratiating; it is determined to uncover the meaning of ink as the material evidence of the spirit. It sees the misfortune of weak, tired ink that has lost its ability to reveal the spiritual. “Integration” confronts our times and today’s artistic diversity; it is devoted to digging deeper, it embodies acceptance and convergence, and it shows the power of still water that runs deep.

The subtext of “Integration”is that it fluidly restrains and frees ink; it does not reject any type of ink art that has value for life. It sees the lived experience of ink artists as one of the cornerstones of ink’s value today. Even pensive works in the ancient style are infused with the persistence and feeling of artists today regarding the presence of nature. “Integration” is the affirmation of inner feelings and inherent humanity. It does not judge based on popularity; instead, it reveals the deeper soul of ink through active conviction and full understanding.

“Integration” nourishes life; it does not have broad ambitions rooted in materialism or self-pity. It shows the meaning of humanity through magnanimity. The integration of “Integration” is a constant position amidst surprising change, sticking to convictions no matter how difficult that may be. We know that globalization is an unstoppable force, but the difference and diversity of cultures, like the difference and diversity of natural species, cannot be weakened or destroyed; now more than ever, this diversity needs protection. Although uniformity in contemporary art is becoming increasingly common, the unique properties and traits of ink demand reflection and reexamination. Ink has a source, but it does not change; it is unique, but it can absorb other exploits. “Integration”surrounds, gathers, blends, and synthesizes many other different cultures, in order to change and grow.

The contemporary cultural stance of“Integration” is broad and spirited; the demands and mastery of ink are the center of its historical lineage, and the aspirations of these artists respond to and accept the challenges of our times. In the end, art history is written in ink. “Integration”confirms the endurance and charm of ink, which does not live or die by the passage of time, due to the hard work of generation after generation of people who have settled down and devoted themselves to ink. Language cannot tell you if ink is rising or falling; practitioners must invest their bodies and souls in practicing all of the possibilities and mysteries of ink. It should be said that, in today’s cultural context, all art raises the possibilities and responds to the challenges of our times; this is not unique to ink. Therefore, “Integration” represents this new era, bringing together all cultural and artistic knowledge to showcase the value and meaning of our lives through ink. China is joining the rest of the world, and art and ink must conform to history’s tendency toward development and confluence.
